My Uncle Tom found this message among my grandfather’s belongings.  After a quick Google search, it appears as if it was derived by Ella Wheeler Wilcox.  However, my Great Grandfather, Edmund Thomas, was a well-known Methodist Minister and eloquent orator.   I am sure he used this in a sermon.  I like it.
